Trail Riders Award & Trail Boss Program

Recognizing the need to honor the trail rider who is the foundation of the ETWHA, ETWHA announces the Trail Riders Awards Program and Trail Boss Incentive Program.
Trail Riders Awards Program

Riders keep track of the number of HOURS they trail ride and send a copy of the log to the program chair. It's that simple! It does not matter how far or fast you go, just the number of hours you spend on the trail. Any time spent out on the trails, whether alone or in a group, counts toward awards. It can be any type of trail riding; pleasure, conditioning, endurance, etc. As long as it is on the back of a Tennessee Walking Horse (but driving will count as well!) It does not include time spent getting ready to ride, riding in an arena, parades, etc..
Upon joining the program, you receive a beautiful 10 cm patch and a supply of "Riders Log" record forms on which you keep track of your riding hours. New patches are awarded when you complete the following levels - 100, 200, 300, 500, 1000, and every 500 thereafter until you reach 2500 hours. A special Master Trail Rider Award will be presented upon completion of 2500 hours.
All participants must be members of ETWHA. There is no limit to the number of horses which may be ridden in qualifying for an award.
To join and to remain active in the program there is an annual renewal fee of €10.00. These fees are used to cover the cost of record keeping, materials, providing the Riders Logs, patches and awards.
Trail Boss Incentive Program

What more fun can it be to have a trail ride with others and especially with other Walking Horses? To stimulate members to organize local trail rides, ETWHA has created the Trail Boss Incentive Program. Organize a trail ride and get € 5,00 for “coffee and cakes” for each participant.
Participants have to be ETWHA members and the trail has to be announced on the ETWHA website 2 weeks upfront. After the trail, send in the trail boss form (available on the ETWHA website), list the names of the participants, and write a little story about your trail ride (adding pictures would be great). Send it to the program chair to get reimbursed.
Guided ETWHA trail rides are covered by the ETWHA assurance. For questions please contact Angela Stumpp.
